Some knowledge of prepress large edition

large edition is a prepress discipline with its own amount of information. Theoretically, it is simple. But in fact, it is quite complex. Making a big version is a bit like dancing the brux step -- five minutes to learn for a lifetime

the marking diagram is about the smallest component of the large plate layer. A large number of tag maps produce layout. Each marking diagram consists of the front and back of the printed sheet. Prints of multiple pages that can be printed on a single sheet of paper form many marking diagrams. There are only a few printing parameters that need to be determined before you create the marking map and make up

· what type of binding will be used

· how will the second side of the sheet be printed

· what size of paper will be used

· how will the printed matter be folded

interestingly, Jinan testing machine factory wishes a happy New Year's day. Even skilled professionals can't distinguish some ways of double-sided printing on offset presses. For this reason, we will make a brief explanation here

double sided printing

most printing sheets are printed on both sides of the printing sheet. Double sided printing is one way. Double sided printing requires a multi unit printing unit with a working device between the printing units. This facility can pull the printing sheet to the other side, while allowing the remaining units to print the second side. This kind of facility that can turn the printing sheet is called double-sided printing machine

another way to print the second side is by processing the printed sheet. This means printing the other side after the first printing. Printer * the author takes back the printed sheet for printing on the other side, codes the paper again, and starts printing again

both (printing) methods require that the distribution of pages on the film is in the correct order, so that when the paper is pulled out, the correct print sheet is printed on the back. Not only should the pages have the correct order and position, they must also be centralized in order to print well on the back. The parameters used to make up the large version depend on the printer, binding method or printer's parameters

there are three ways to make a large version: self turning, rollover and front and back printing. The difference between them is how to deal with the printed sheet after the first side is printed

self turning

self turning method is to print both sides of a sheet with the same plate. The first side is turned over after printing, and the paper teeth on this side remain stationary. This means that when on the second side, the paper gripped by the printer is the same as that on the first side

rollover is similar to self turning, except that the first side of the printed sheet is printed, and the paper does not turn over, but rolls. This means that the paper jaws are not on the same side of the paper

front and back printing

front and back printing means printing the second side of the page with different plates. For a front and back page, you need two separate pages -- each for one side printing

correct appearance

bleeding. Many printing providers have different bleeding requirements. Controlling bleeding is so important that you can change the number of prints depending on specific printing requirements

binding method. The application supports wireless binding, horse riding binding and other common binding methods

user defined margins and staples. When the correct reading of a book or document is restricted, the space between two pages must be defined. Accumulating these blanks helps accommodate crawling like. Bottleneck status and other printing plate arrangement and placing scattered pages on the marking diagram

creep. Creep changes according to the paper thickness. It is possible that each living part has different crawling characteristics* The author can type the paper to let the application adjust automatically

bottle state. The bottle state means that the paper is not square after being folded. The bottle shape state changes with the folding mode and binding mode. Make sure that the application allows different changes to be entered to achieve the minimum bottle state

efficiency consideration

handling OPI and DCS files. Spelling color files requires huge storage capacity and computing power. The maximum capacity of each page (capacity) can reach 60MB, and an octet composition can easily reach 0.5gb. The use of OPI and DCS files can make the composition faster, because the application does not require copying all data, just for the placement of OPI files

imaging performance. When the color print is electronic, the program must be able to completely control the way the page is output. Depending on the printing method, there are many properties that can be used. For the convenience of naming, the film can be positive or negative, and the photosensitive emulsion is in the upper or lower layer. The ability to choose different developing and adding lines and color separation support are also necessary

print marks. The placement and calibration of printed marks should be user-defined. Some templates include printed marks set in advance on the marking map. Although it is useful to use printing marks, a good sign of jigsaw software is that it allows * authors to move marks to specific printing, which usually adopts cold heading or cold forging to process the places where the machine needs marks most. Not all printing marks are produced equally, and not all printers like to use pre-defined printing marks. It is very important that printing production personnel have the ability to create their own logo and apply it in the program

control contraction. Many printing presses have different types of platens that cling to the cylinder. Due to this difference, the printer and the elevator drive the screw master to rotate the edge of the plate to the edge of the paper through the belt pulley, worm and worm wheel, which needs to be controlled by the author

electronic version viewing platform. This facility allows the producer to check the suitability of the back of the paper on the display before printing. It reduces the amount of damage. It is also important for the computer direct plate making system, because no one wants the printing machine to become a proofing system

The template platform is changeable. Many jigsaw software can be used on Macintosh and personal computers. Many prepress companies have more than one computer dedicated to making up. In a complex platform environment, it becomes very important that the created template can be transferred to another platform without losing its functions

all these features, or some of them by default, are very important when you decide which software to choose for your workflow in order to understand. Another program feature may be interesting, but it may not matter to your business. The width of programs and final products found in interactive interfaces and workflows is rarely considered

no matter how you look at it, the ability to spell electronic document versions is the last obstacle to the operation of large format output equipment and digital printers. Now we have this technology, which will be an important three in one group: printing presses, jigsaw software applications, and output facilities
