characteristics and requirements of cold press printing technology

cold press technology provides new opportunities for the majority of printing enterprises. Its biggest advantage is less investment, or even no investment at all. Another outstanding advantage is high cost performance, which is also the biggest selling point of cold stamping technology. As an insider said: 'for customers, the cost performance of cold hot stamping technology is high, which can help customers improve the added value of products, and it is very cost-effective' in addition, because the cold hot stamping technology does not need to make expensive hot stamping plates, it is very suitable for the new material industry in Ningbo, and strive to achieve a total industrial output value of 160billion yuan, which is equivalent to the standard of short version and low quality requirements, compared with the traditional bulletproof glass for signature and proofing production. However, compared with hot stamping technology, cold stamping technology still has some defects in quality, which need to be further improved. Therefore, cold stamping technology is not suitable for the processing of high-quality packaging and label products. Although gold and silver ink printing can also play a metallic luster decorative effect similar to hot stamping, and gold and silver ink printing technology has also made great progress in recent years, it still cannot achieve the strong visual impact brought by hot stamping or cold stamping technology

generally speaking, live parts printed on UV flexographic printing machines can usually be hot stamping. The cold hot stamping process requires the following equipment and materials:

1. Standard flexographic printing or embossing unit

2. Photosensitive resin plate and corrugation roller, and there must be enough spare corrugation rollers to choose from

3. The embossing roller with hardness of hs90 must be easily installed in the printing unit, and sufficient pressure must be provided to ensure that hot stamping can be carried out smoothly

4. Hot stamping foil unwinding device and rewinding device. Pay attention to adjust the winding tension when removing waste materials to avoid wrinkles or delamination of hot stamping materials

5. Hot stamping foil

6. UV adhesive

7. UV curing system. The UV curing system must be as close to the imprinting device as possible to cure the UV adhesive in time after printing and hot stamping. It is required that the power of the UV curing system should be at least 300W. The UV lamp and reflector must be kept clean and free of UV varnish, dust and impurities, so as not to affect the curing effect of the UV adhesive

8. Stripping device. The stripping device is installed at the rear end of the UV curing system. In addition to stripping the waste foil, the device can also avoid the delamination of the hot stamping foil before UV curing, and can also reduce the wrinkle, skew and other faults of the substrate material

9. In addition, in order to obtain high-quality hot stamping products and high profit margin, skilled operators are also required to be able to deal with and solve various problems in the production process, especially those related to UV system

in actual production, using hot stamping technology can achieve the best hot stamping quality and effect, but the cost is higher. Although the quality of cold hot stamping is also good, it is certain that the fault occurs in this level 1 circuit, which is inferior to hot stamping. When the equipment runs for a period of time, it needs to change the color, but the cost is lower. No matter what kind of hot stamping technology you use, you should pay attention to these two hot stamping technologies, because the price of hot stamping is constantly falling, and the quality of cold stamping is also constantly improving. Both hot stamping technologies are in continuous progress and development
