Nylon: there is an urgent need to develop high value-added products
nylon has important applications in clothing, home decoration and industry because of its excellent properties such as strength, wear resistance, elastic recovery rate and moisture absorption
Xiao Ru, a doctor from the school of materials science and engineering of Donghua University, analyzed that China's Nylon output reached 1.3727 million tons in 2009, but this is the first time that China has included the thickness of plastic bags into the mandatory national standard. China's Nylon output accounts for about 5% of the chemical fiber output in the same period, lower than the world average. In foreign countries, industrial nylon occupies a large market share. However, the main consumption of domestic nylon is clothing and home decoration textiles, and its use is limited to some of its advantages over other fibers, which restricts the development and production of downstream products, resulting in a large gap in the production capacity and quality of various differentiated and functional products compared with foreign countries. Therefore, using chemical or physical methods, through technological innovation and process improvement, to develop products with high technical content and high added value has become an urgent problem to be solved in the nylon industry
Xiao Ru said that at present, the research on differentiated and functional nylon products includes the development of flame retardant, antibacterial and anti-virus, antistatic, anti UV, far infrared, anti electromagnetic radiation, special-shaped hollow, composite ultra-fine and other fibers
among them, in terms of flame retardant fibers, the copolymerized flame retardants of nylon 6 and nylon 66 mainly include red phosphorus and the calculation of data yield point. The most important points are the following: dicarboxylic acid ethyl methyl phosphate, for example, apyil copolymerized nylon fiber developed by unirijika company in Japan has a limiting oxygen index of 30%~32%. Flame retardants for nylon blending modification include phosphorus containing compounds, chlorinated polyethylene, etc. for example, the flame retardant nylon fiber developed by Japan Yubu company uses organic phosphorus compounds as flame retardants
experimental methods for building waterproof coatings gb/t 16777 ⑴ 997 antibacterial additives used in antibacterial and antivirus nylon fibers can be divided into organic and inorganic categories. Inorganic category mainly includes: between enterprises, Ag, Cu, Au, Zn and other metals, metal salts and their compounds, among which Ag loaded antibacterial agents are the representative. Organic compounds can be divided into natural and synthetic. Natural compounds include deacetylated chitosan and its derivatives, plant extracts, etc; Synthetic compounds include phenols, fatty acids, etc. Nylon fiber can be modified by physical and chemical methods to make it have antibacterial properties
fine denier is conducive to improving the handle, appearance and wearability of nylon fiber. PA6 ultra fine denier fiber was successfully developed by DuPont through composite spinning technology in 1964. In China, with PA6 as the island, polyethylene or alkali soluble polyester as the sea, ultra-fine denier fiber prepared by "island method" as the skeleton material of artificial leather has achieved industrial production
shaped hollow nylon fiber is a nylon fiber with a hollow ratio of 33% developed by Toyo textile company. The microart developed by unitlka in Japan is a hollow structure with double cross-section and staggered double axes, with a hollow ratio of 38%. The fabric is fluffy and has good thermal insulation. The special shaped section makes it waterproof and moisture permeable
the above nylon fibers reflect the new progress of differentiation research in the nylon industry today. Many technologies are developed by foreign enterprises, which also puts forward requirements for China's Nylon industry, that is, to strengthen the research and development of domestic differentiated nylon and promote independent innovation. According to the statistics of China Chemical Fiber Association, in 2009, the differentiation rate of nylon civil filament in China reached 51.5%, and the differentiation amount reached 411000 tons, with obvious achievements. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, the nylon industry should continue to promote differentiated development, especially strengthen the research and development of high-performance differentiated fibers such as imitation leather, so as to meet the personalized needs of the market
